Help Close the Weekend Hunger Gap Before the Year Ends

As 2026 comes to a close, thousands of children across Metro Atlanta are facing food insecurity, and for many, the challenge is greatest on weekends when school meals are not available.

Your gift can help make sure a child doesn’t have to worry about where their next meal will come from.

Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta provides nutritious, kid-friendly weekend meals, snacks, and drinks to food-insecure children so they can return to school on Monday fed, focused, and ready to learn.

This year, thanks to our community's generosity, we are working toward our goal of serving 3,000 children every week across Metro Atlanta. But there are still children waiting for the support they need.

We can’t do it without you.

$250 provides weekend meals for one child for an entire school year.

Your year-end gift helps provide nourishment, supports children’s health and well-being, and gives them a better chance to focus and succeed in the classroom.

Together, we can finish 2026 strong and help ensure that hunger doesn’t take the weekend off.

Give hope. Give nourishment. Give a child a stronger start.

Give today and help us feed 3,000 children in 2026–27.
