Growing Parkside’s Tree Canopy This Spring

Hey neighbor — the Parkside Community Association tree planters are at it again!

We’re gearing up for our next effort to keep Parkside green, healthy, and beautiful. It looks like the space in front of your home could be a great spot for a new streetside tree. Would you like one planted there this spring? You can help choose the type of tree, and if you’re a renter, you can coordinate with your homeowner to make the request. Trees boost property values and curb appeal, reduce urban heat, support birds and other wildlife, and let all of us enjoy the changing seasons.

Want a New StreetSide Tree? Here’s How to Get Started

You can request a tree for the parkway in front of your home, and you’ll have a say in the type of tree planted. If you rent, you can coordinate with your homeowner to submit the request.
We’ll do all the planting but welcome your help if you’d like to participate. It’s fun for the whole family.
