2026 Stuff the Bus

United Way of Southwest Virginia’s Stuff the Bus school supply drive helps ensure that students across our region have the tools they need to succeed, regardless of their family’s financial situation. For many families, the cost of backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other essentials can be overwhelming, creating barriers before the first day of school even begins.

Your support helps us collect and distribute critical school supplies to students who might otherwise go without, easing the burden on families and empowering children to walk into the classroom prepared, confident, and ready to learn.
