2026 Summer of Courage
At Courage Theatre, we believe that the most important work happens long before the curtain rises. For youth and young adults, theatre is a launchpad for life—a place where they find fulfillment, build the confidence to speak their truth, and develop the resilience that shapes them as individuals.
The goal of the Summer of COURAGE is to provide a space where every young artist feels empowered to take that leap and "just have courage" because stepping into the spotlight takes a special kind of bravery.
But the Summer of COURAGE is about more than putting on shows; it’s about creating an environment that matches the ambition of our performers. We want to provide our youth and our local playwrights with a high-quality experience that challenges them to grow and rewards their willingness to be vulnerable on stage.
Expanding the Stage
Our stage is a unique crossroads for our community. We take pride in bringing together students from across the Granite School District and beyond, uniting young artists from various high schools and junior highs under one roof. Here, they don't just act; they build a community of peers that transcends school boundaries.
As a community-focused organization, we are committed to our students' success both on and off the stage. Profits from our productions go directly back to supporting Granite School District students, ensuring that the resources we build stay within the community that creates them.
By contributing to the Summer of COURAGE, you are helping us build a foundation that allows us to:
Empower Personal Growth: Your support ensures we can provide a safe, high-energy space where students from across the district are mentored to reach their full potential.
Elevate the Experience: We are moving toward higher-caliber productions. This fund allows us to invest in the sets, costumes, and tech that make our performers feel the true magic of their craft.
Invest in Excellence: We want our youth to learn from the best. This fund allows us to bring in top-tier talent and high-quality performers to share the stage, offering our cast a unique opportunity to grow alongside experienced mentors.
Ensure Future Opportunity: Building this reserve ensures that we can keep the arts affordable for every family while constantly reinvesting in the quality of the theatre we produce for our students.
Invest in the Individual
When you support the 2026 Summer of COURAGE, you aren’t just funding a production—you are investing in the artists who make it. You are helping us provide the resources, the mentorship, and the stage where the next generation of local talent can truly take flight.
Help us give our community’s artists the experience they deserve.
Sincerely,
Josh & Merilee Adams
