The Committee for King exists to keep Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision alive in Tupelo and Northeast Mississippi. Each year, we bring neighbors, families, students, faith communities, civic leaders, and local institutions together for events that uplift the values of justice, service, unity, and beloved community.

Our programs—ranging from the Youth Talent Show and Youth Leadership Summit to the annual Awards Banquet and Memorial Service—celebrate those who lead with courage and compassion while inspiring young people to see themselves as change-makers.
