2026 Doolittle Raiders Memorial Toast

Each year, Air Force and Space Force units and AFA members around the world raise a glass to commemorate the legendary Doolittle Raid. This tradition was started by AFA’s founding president Gen. Jimmy Doolittle and his fellow Raiders in 1945, and honors their warfighting spirit, courage, and innovation.

Eighty men took part in the Doolittle Raid, proving that bold leadership and careful preparation can overcome even the greatest odds. That same spirit continues to guide today’s Airmen and Guardians as they defend our nation in the air, in space, and beyond.

This year, as we mark the 84th anniversary of the Raid during the Air & Space Forces Association’s 80th anniversary year, we reflect on a legacy that connects generations.

You can be part of this enduring legacy by participating in this year’s Toast with an In Honor or In Memory of AFA gift. Your gift of $25 or more directly supports the Doolittle Leadership Center, helping prepare future leaders with the same courage, character, and vision celebrated by this tradition.

Your honoree’s name will also be displayed on screen throughout the event, allowing the entire AFA community to pay tribute. Simply select your gift amount and check the “Give in honor/memory” box.

Thank you for joining us in honoring the past while helping shape the next generation of Air and Space Force leaders.
