Paddles Up! Join us at beautiful Lake Tobesofkee for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ largest fundraiser — the 14th Annual Heart of the Dragon Boat Festival!

Gather your coworkers, friends, family, or organization for an exciting day of dragon boat racing, team spirit, beach fun, and community impact on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Sandy Beach in Macon.

Team Registration Includes

One dragon boat team (10 paddlers, 1 drummer, and up to 4 alternates)
Professional steerer in every boat
Dragon boat, paddles, and life jackets provided
Complimentary Friday practice/training session (registration required)
Three or more guaranteed races
10x10 team tent space in the Athlete Village
Awards for race winners, team spirit, fundraising, and more

Registration Rates

$1,500 – Corporate Team Sponsor

$1,400 – Corporate Impact Team Sponsor*

*Corporate Impact Teams commit to additional fundraising efforts benefiting BBBS youth, such as employee giving campaigns, casual dress days, bake sales, peer-to-peer fundraising, or other creative team activities.

Special Team Rates

Special rates are available for club, school, nonprofit, breast cancer survivor, and Team Robins teams:

$750 – Single Boat Registration (special rate ends July 1)
$1,400 – Two Boat Registration
$2,100 – Three Boat Registration

Make It a Team Experience

Teams are encouraged to create fun team themes with costumes, chants, decorations, and fundraising challenges. Friends and family are welcome to spend the day cheering teams on at the beach.
