Help us grow the game of lacrosse within Frederick, MD!!!

Spires Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)3 organization to promote the furthering of youth participation and enjoyment of recreational lacrosse in our local area, specifically within the Frederick High School and Gov. Thomas Johnson High School feeder systems. Spires has four major components:

• To teach the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun, positive environment, which prepares our young athletes for the field of competition;

• To build a foundation for each player that includes good sportsmanship, respect for the game and fellow players, self-control and discipline, teamwork, and a sense of community and camaraderie;

• To promote lacrosse in communities within out feeder school system, so that all children in the schools, regardless of ability, gender, race, ethnicity or socioeconomic status, feel lacrosse is an attainable sport in which they can participate and excel; and

• To reach a more diverse group of players within our community and provide the necessary support to ensure we are growing Spires in a way that is reflective of the diverse student bodies within our feeder school programs.

Lacrosse can be an expensive sport when players first start, and it can be daunting for parents to spend so much money to have their kids "try" a sport.   To grow the sport we at Spires Lacrosse are seeking help to lower that initial cost for new players.  As an organization we have significantly reduced the cost of registration for new boys and girls players.   

We are reaching out to the Frederick business community for sponsors.   Our levels include:

Program Sponsorship ($5000) - This sponsorship will be used by the program to purchase equipment, secure field usage and bring extra resources into the program.  Additionally some of the funds will be used to offer full scholarships to deserving players. The program sponsors will receive a team photo from each of our 2026 team, as well as social media exposure and a Spires T-shirt at the end of the season.

Team Sponsorship ($1200) - You'll be sponsoring one of twelve of our teams.  Helping to lower the cost to play.   Each team sponsor will receive social media exposure, as well as a team photo and Spires t-shirt at the end of the season.

Equipment Sponsor ($500) - This sponsorship helps insure that Spires Lacrosse has the necessary equipment to have a successful season.  Each team sponsor will receive social media exposure, as well as a team photo and Spires t-shirt at the end of the season.

Golden Ball Sponsor ($100) - Sometimes recognizing players for good sportsmanship and gameplay with something as simple as a golden lacrosse ball can fuel the excitement of a team sport. Each sponsor will receive a Golden Lacrosse ball and s Spires t-shirt at the end of the season.
