About Perfect Piece of the Puzzle, Inc.

Founded in September 2016, Perfect Piece of the Puzzle, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families of neurodivergent individuals and people with developmental disabilities. Since its inception, the organization has worked to address the systemic gaps families face when navigating diagnosis, education, healthcare, and long-term support systems—particularly during the most critical and overwhelming stages of a child’s development.

Perfect Piece of the Puzzle, Inc. was born from the lived experience of its founder, Trishia, a mother who firsthand encountered the fragmented, confusing, and often inaccessible systems designed to support children with complex medical and developmental needs. While raising her medically complex, neurodivergent son, Trishia found herself responsible not only for caregiving, but also for deciphering medical language, understanding educational rights, locating appropriate services, and advocating relentlessly—often without a roadmap. What should have been a supported journey instead required self-education, persistence, and emotional resilience.

Recognizing that far too many families faced these challenges in isolation, Trishia turned her personal journey into a purpose-driven organization. Her mission became clear: no family should have to navigate this path alone. Perfect Piece of the Puzzle, Inc. exists to share the knowledge, tools, and insight she gained—offering families clear information, practical resources, and compassionate guidance rooted in real-world experience.

Today, the organization focuses on family empowerment, education, advocacy, and community connection, helping caregivers better understand systems of care while amplifying the voices of neurodivergent individuals and those who support them. Through programming, outreach, partnerships, and awareness initiatives, Perfect Piece of the Puzzle, Inc. works to reduce barriers, improve access to services, and foster inclusive environments where individuals of all abilities are valued and supported.

Our goal is both simple and transformative: to empower families with knowledge, create stronger support networks, improve outcomes for children, and cultivate communities where neurodivergent individuals can thrive across every stage of life. We recognize that balancing caregiving, advocacy, and daily responsibilities is not easy—and that families cannot do this work alone.

Together, we are building a future rooted in understanding, equity, and opportunity—where every piece of the puzzle truly belongs.
