Hey Gays! We’ll be wranglin’ the dance floor in our hoopskirts and cowboy hats on May 23rd. Have a gay ol’ gallop to our FIFTEENTH annual prom for queer youth! Aristocrats and cowpolk alike, join us for a night of drag, high tea, boots with the spurs to b-b-break it down in our barn ballroom. The theme this year is Victorian AND Western! You confused? So are we! But this is what you voted for! Just show up and show out! We’ll have hors d'oeuvres, a DJ, photo op area, a drag show, and a Low Sensory Lasso Lounge if you need a break! So make like a tumbleweed and roll on down to RSVP today.

Entertainment

Queer prom will feature a variety of entertainers and activities! We will have a DJ, drag performances, and crafts. Keep an eye out for performer announcements!

Catering

We're working with our caterers to provide a variety of protein, vegan, and gluten-free bites ranging from salty to sweet. Hors d'oeuvres and hand-held snacks will be available throughout the night.

Health & Safety

Attendees are highly encouraged to wear masks; free masks will be available at the entrance. To ensure the safety of all our guests, we've hired a community safety team for prom. These individuals are practiced in de-escalation and have received appropriate training for their roles. Every attendee will go through a bag check. We will also have medics on location.

Accessibility

Earplugs will be available free of charge to all attendees, and light stimulation will be limited. We will have a decompression space for anyone who wants a break from the ball. The venue is wheelchair accessible with drop-off spaces at the entrance. If you have any accessibility needs, there is a space for you to share that information with us when you get a ticket.

Parking

The venue offers free parking for all attendees. No parking pass is needed.

Support Queer Youth Prom

We know that the traditional prom is not always a welcoming space for everyone, particularly LGBTQIA+ teens. Queer and Trans young people deserve an affirming, safe, and celebratory prom where they feel valued for who they are and how they express themselves.

We are grateful for all of our partners, donors, and volunteers who make it possible for us to bring the community together for this annual event. Our prom committee has been hard at work, and you can be part of making the event a success, too.

Here are just a few ways your donation will be used:

Community Safety
To ensure the safety of all our guests, we hire a community safety team for prom. A donation of $50 covers paying one community safety person for one hour of the event.
Subsidized Tickets
Prom is a no-turn-away event, which means youth will not be prevented from attending because of a lack of funds. A donation of $35 covers the cost of one ticket. Help subsidize this expense so all youth can celebrate with us.
Decorations & Activities
Help us transform the venue into a dazzling ballroom. Every year, we host a community prom build where youth and volunteers design centerpieces, photo backdrops, large props, and more. We also make sure to have crafting activities available at prom, which are a great way for young people to make friends. Your donation helps provide materials and supplies.
Entertainment
Prom will feature local DJs and drag performances for entertainment. Your donation supports equitable pay for these magnificent creatives!
Food & Beverage
What's a party without food?! Help us bring bold flavors and comfort foods to our event that meet the dietary needs of all our youth.

Ticket Sales Launch: March 30!

Youth can purchase prom tickets on this page starting on March 30, 2026. Prom tickets are $35, and no one will be turned away because of a lack of funds.

Prom Clothing Swap: TBA

We are partnering with Emote, a local second-hand and queer art shop, to offer a free prom clothing swap. Join us to shop gender and size-inclusive outfits with all the flair you’re looking for!
