YOU MUST PURCHASE AT LEAST ONE SPACE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT.

All spaces will come with 1 chair.

Sales should not be made before 6:30 am on Saturday. Vendors must stay for the duration of the event. Vendors who leave their space before the event ends may not be permitted to attend future Yard Sale and/or Craft Bazaar events.
Event Set Up:
- Friday, February 13: 3 PM - 6 PM
- Saturday, February 14: 6 AM – 7 AM
  **All vendors must be set up and ready by 7 AM.**
  
  Vendors should not bring items through the main entrance of the Community Center during set up. The side entrances through the gymnasium and multi-purpose room should be used to bring items into your space.
During the set-up times, vehicles may be parked beside or in front of the Community Center only to drop off your items. Items should be brought in using the doors in the exterior of the gymnasium and the multi-purpose room. Vendors should not bring items in through the main entrance/lobby area. Once you have brought your items to your space, move your vehicle so that other vendors have access to park and bring their items. You MUST move all vehicles from beside or in front of the building by 7 am on Saturday. There are over 100 parking spaces on Castle Drive (The road beside the Community Center where you load/unload your items). The parking lot behind the building is only for staff and volunteers. Parking on the grass is not permitted. The parking spaces beside the building and in our lots in front of the building should be for shoppers only during event hours. YOU MUST BE PARKED IN A MARKED PARKING SPACE. YOU SHOULD NOT PARK ON THE GRASS OR THE STREET.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. WE WILL BE GLAD TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS.

1. Each proposed vendor must submit a Yard Sale Application for consideration for the Indoor Yard Sale Event. Only applicants approved by the Fort Ritchie Community Center (FRCC) will be permitted to participate in the Yard Sale. Applications must be completed online at thefrcc.org

2. All fees are due at the time the application is submitted. Spaces will be assigned by FRCC on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment can be completed online, at FRCC (in-person), or mailed to: Fort Ritchie Community Center, Attn: Sam Phillips, P.O. Box 755, Cascade, MD, 21719.

3. A wait list will be established for applicants not selected due to lack of space. If space does become available, vendors will be notified in the order that applications were received.

4. No refunds will be given if you cancel. Credit to be used for future yard sales will be given if canceled within 30 days of the event. Cancelations must be made with FRCC. You cannot sell a canceled space. Spaces will only be reserved for those listed on this contract.

APPLICANT ACTIVITIES AND OPERATIONS

1. Each applicant shall operate its business during the Indoor Yard Sale in a professional manner AND for the entire time of the scheduled yard sale: 7 AM to 1 PM. Sales should not be made prior to 6:30 AM on Saturday.

2. Applicants may set up from 3 PM-6 PM on Friday or 6 AM-7 AM on Saturday.

3. Each applicant shall, at all times, be responsible for their own booth and all property located therein, including, without limitation, display equipment and materials, merchandise, inventory, and money. No insurance of any kind will be furnished for the applicant.

4. Each applicant agrees to hold FRCC Staff, its directors, officials, officers, agents, independent contractors, members, volunteers, or any third party harmless from any and all liability to persons or property, including without limitation, all losses, damages, liabilities, fines, penalties, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) to the extent arising out of or resulting from any theft, personal injury, property damage, infringement of any patent, copyright, trademark or trade secret right, or other intellectual property right, private right, or any other proprietary of personal interest, and related by circumstances to the applicants participation in the Yard Sale.

5. Applicant’s signature on the Yard Sale Application form shall constitute acceptance of all terms and conditions described herein.

6. Concessions will be available for purchase with cash.
