The Adult Education Center is thrilled to announce the 20th annual Red Hat Literacy Luncheon, themed "Honoring our Past, Celebrating our Future."

Highlighted activities at the event include presentations honoring community and corporate figures, awards for adult learners, engaging auctions (silent and live), a raffle, exhibitor displays, and delightful cuisine.

This luncheon serves as the Adult Education Center's primary fundraiser of the year, drawing over 400 supporters. The proceeds play a crucial role in directly benefiting our adult learners by supporting quality instruction, employment preparation, innovative technology, small business and entrepreneurship initiatives, and workforce certification programs.

Over 36 years, countless lives of individuals with low literacy skills have been positively transformed, thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and volunteers. The Red Hat Literacy Luncheon is a celebration of adult learners striving for educational and career goals, as well as a recognition of the supporters dedicated to creating lasting change. In the previous year alone, our life-changing programs touched the lives of over 400 men and women.
