Nearly 180,000 people in Los Angeles County are under evacuation orders due to multiple fires, including the Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, and Lidia fires. An additional 200,000 residents are under evacuation warnings. Over 100,000 individuals have been evacuated, with approximately 37,000 in Calabasas, Malibu, and Los Angeles ordered to leave because of the Palisades Fire.

The fires have resulted in at least 10 deaths, and officials are still assessing the situation for welfare checks and individuals reported missing. Significant injuries have been reported, and thousands of structures, including homes and businesses, have been damaged or destroyed. Cal Fire reports that around 5,316 structures have been lost in the Palisades Fire, with additional damage expected from the Eaton Fire.

Insured losses could exceed $20 billion, while total economic losses may reach up to $50 billion.
