Thanks for supporting the Food Futures Summit!

We’re still buzzing with gratitude after the Food Futures Summit this weekend. We want to thank The People’s Forum for hosting our first-ever alumni event! It was incredible to gather alumni, and partners who imagine and create better possibilities for our food future.

Here are our highlights:

  • Workshops: From healing to fundraising, attendees gained actionable insights for food justice work.
  • Vendor Showcases: Vendors shared their products and pathways for collaboration, fostering deeper connections.
  • Community Connection: Mingling activities and a closing circle reminded us of the strength of the community.
  • Celebration: Live music and a small awards ceremony wrapped the day with joy and reflection.
  • We loved reconnecting with alumni, meeting potential students, and uplifting our partners. If you haven’t had a chance to share your feedback, please do so now!

We look forward to creating even stronger spaces next time, and deeply appreciate everyone who joined in, supported, and helped out.🌍✨

    With gratitude,
    The FSNYC Team

  • Self-Care is Collective-Care- Facilitated by Rose Fluerant, this workshop explores what healing means in community. Share tea, art, wisdom, or stop by for some rest and good vibes. Feel free to bring a (sanitized) object representing your own healing practice to share!
