In 2026, HUDSY is capturing 250 Acts of Positive Change, a year-long filmmaking project inspired by the 250th anniversary of the United States. Rather than looking backward at our country's complicated history, we're celebrating what makes our communities strong today.

Through 250 micro-documentaries, we're highlighting real acts of service, creativity, healing, justice, and connection happening across the Hudson Valley, creating a living mosaic of local impact. Each person or organization featured receives their film to share with their own community, and every story becomes part of a permanent, publicly accessible interactive map documenting positive change across the region.

Each Act of Positive Change is available to sponsor for $250. Sponsor one - or more! - and help us capture and share the stories of people and organizations making a difference throughout the Hudson Valley.

For each Act sponsored, you'll receive logo recognition on the sponsored film on YouTube, in the project's interactive digital map, and on the project website. Additional recognition is available when you sponsor multiple Acts - see sponsorship levels and benefits below.

This Project Will...

Produce 250 micro-documentaries, each 1–3 minutes, highlighting real acts of positive change across the Hudson Valley.
Provide everyone featured with their own documentary asset to support marketing, fundraising, and community engagement.
Create paid, hands-on workforce training for emerging filmmakers through HUDSY's Filmmaker Apprenticeship Program.
Build a permanent, publicly accessible interactive map serving as an archive of local impact across the region.
Reach an estimated 90,000+ viewers through social media, screenings, partner distribution, and community sharing.
