This pivotal event examines critical health and human service issues that impact our diverse communities. The 2024 conference, themed "Protecting our Youth: Safeguarding our Future," shines a spotlight on youth mental health, family wellness, and the healing power through art and community engagement. Conference Objectives:
• Recognize, respond to, and learn how to prevent sexual abuse and trauma in children
• Create inclusive, safe spaces for interfaith dialogue on youth well-being
• Develop effective communication skills for addressing sensitive topics within families
• Identify and utilize community resources for support and connection
• Understand and promote mental health awareness and emotional resilience
• Apply evidence-based approaches to heal from trauma and address generational issues
• Engage in practical, hands-on activities to enhance family communication, strategies for expression, and protection for our children
