2023 Finding Purpose In Entrepreneurship
Imagine a world where every young person, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to turn their dreams into reality. That's the world we're working towards with our marginalized youth entrepreneurship program. We know that marginalized youth face unique challenges when it comes to starting a business. They may not have access to the education or resources they need, they may lack the connections or mentorship necessary to succeed, and they may face economic or social barriers that prevent them from taking the leap.
But we believe that with the right support, marginalized youth can become powerful agents of change in their communities. Our 10- Week Summer program provides young people with the skills, training, and resources they need to start and grow successful businesses. We offer mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to funding to help our entrepreneurs get off the ground.
But we're not just focused on helping our entrepreneurs succeed as individuals. We believe that entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for creating positive change in our communities. That's why we prioritize social responsibility in all of our programs, encouraging our entrepreneurs to think about the impact their businesses can have on their communities and the world. We know that entrepreneurship isn't easy. But we believe that with the right support and resources, marginalized youth can thrive as entrepreneurs and make a difference in the world. This year we launched our Liberation Lab for Teens, which opened doors for teens to serve as mentors to youth in our community. Every scholar enrolled will have the help of a Liberation Leader to help them during our weekly Entrepreneur strategy club sessions.
