(Re)building connections across political divides: using neuroscience to counter polarization

Discover what happens to our brains and bodies as we build trust and navigate disagreement, and learn how to have better conversations with family, friends, and colleagues in these complicated times.

Registration fees support the National Association for Community Mediation (NAFCM). NAFCM was formed in 1994 to link and support a network of 300+ locally led dispute resolution centers that now include partners across the United States and Canada. Together, NAFCM and these centers are developing creative and constructive responses to emerging conflicts in our local communities. Thirty years later, NAFCM and centers are providing special support to communities addressing challenges of our 2025 political and cultural environment.
