Support UCSB Taara 2025-26!

Dear friends and family,

We are UCSB Taara, our school's competitive Bollywood dance team, proud to represent our Indian culture. Our competition season is upcoming, but we need your help to meet our goals. We work hard year-round, practicing a minimum of 8 hours a week, often in the cold parking lot due to budgetary restrictions. With your donation, we can better afford flights across the country, hotel rooms, bus tickets, and costume/prop production.

Last year, we were incredibly proud to have won third place at Texas A&M's competition, Iktara, and we will compete twice this year. Your monetary support enables us to represent UCSB's Indian culture to the best of our ability, showcasing a diverse range of dances from Indian classical to Bollywood, as well as hip-hop and bhangra. Unfortunately, we don't receive enough funding from the school to cover a majority of our costs. We hope to have a successful competition season!
