Help us raise money for the PTO!

This year the kids will be doing a Fun Run to encourage being active, spending time outdoors, and raising money for the PTO. These funds go to teacher grants, classroom supplies, scholarships for students to attend events, field trips, and so much more!

What is a Coyote Prowl?

The CRES Coyote Prowl is our version of a fun run!  It’s a great way to kick off the year, create community and build school spirit across our campus.  This is a FUN RUN, not a race, and students are encouraged to go at their own pace, complete as many laps as they can and have fun. This year the Coyote Prowl will be held on October 10th at 1:00 - 3:00pm.  

Can I come to the Prowl?

Yes! If you want to volunteer, the Coyote Prowl is a terrific event to get involved with. Please email our PTO at [email protected] and they will find something for you to do!  Please note, before you are able to volunteer at this, or any school event, you must register through the TSD Vital program.  Check out the PTO website at https://cres.tsd.org/get-involved/pto

Why are we asking for donations for the Coyote Prowl?

Fundraising through fun runs and have been very successful.

What is the fundraising goal?  And how is the money used?

This year, we’re hoping to raise $10,000. Every dollar that is donated to sponsor a student will go directly to the CRES PTO and used for teacher grants, classroom supplies, sponsoring students for activities (e.g. Eco Week!) and other PTO-sponsored programs or events.

How much should my student try to collect?

We appreciate any amount!  If all students raise $50, then we would exceed our goal.  We understand some families will be able to give more and some families less, and we also know that every dollar adds up and gets us closer to reaching our goal!
