Caroline is a two year old beloved daughter, sister, and friend whose life is a testament to strength, perseverance, and the joy found in small victories. Any support provided through this fundraiser will directly impact her quality of life, independence, and daily comfort. Caroline was diagnosed with congenital CMV at one week old. This has led to several lifelong disabilities and medical complexities. Her primary diagnoses include:

• Congenital CMV
• Spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy
• Epileptic encephalopathy
• Hearing loss
• Chronic feeding disorder requiring 100% G-tube nutrition

Caroline continues to be joyful and resilient in spite of these challenges. She requires full assistance with all activities of her daily living and uses a variety of adaptive equipment to support her safety, mobility, and participation in daily life.  She has been approved for other devices that will help with her safety and communication but unfortunately some devices are difficult to get approval for. She currently has the immediate need of a supportive chair that is specifically designed for children with significant physical disabilities. This chair will provide structural support for her growing body and also provide safety and comfort. The family also has a secondary need for a handicap van that would be able to help transport Caroline and her family safely and comfortably.
