Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV), founded in 2009 by activist Rachel Crandall, is an international day dedicated to celebrating the lives, contributions, and resilience of transgender and nonbinary people. While the Transgender Day of Remembrance honors those we have lost, TDOV uplifts those who are living those who are creating, leading, healing, and shaping our communities every single day.

At the Fab LGBTQIA+ Center at 925, we gather not only for visibility, but for joy, connection, and collective power. In a time when trans lives are being debated and legislated, visibility becomes both an act of courage and a declaration:

We are here. We are worthy. We are still becoming.

Join us for special performances, a community panel discussion, and local partners tabling to connect our community to affirming services and resources. Together, we celebrate authenticity, resilience, and the brilliance of trans and nonbinary lives.

Because visibility is more than being seen
It’s about being valued, protected, and celebrated.Our 2nd Annual TDOV in Sarasota will feature live performances, a community panel discussion, and community partners tabling to connect individuals to affirming services.
