These cats came into our care from a situation that began with good intentions and a deep desire to help. Like many cases involving large numbers of animals, love was present—but resources, support, and capacity were stretched beyond what one person could manage alone.

When animals are cared for this way, the impact isn’t always visible right away. Over time, medical needs can quietly compound, and by the time help arrives, healing requires more than a safe place—it requires comprehensive veterinary care. It quickly became clear that these cats had already been through more than most ever should. The environment they came from left lasting effects—not just emotionally, but physically—and their recovery will take time, patience, and consistent care.

While rescue was the first step, it was only the beginning.

Veterinary evaluations have shown that most of these cats will need dental care, along with treatment for upper respiratory infections, medications, and vaccinations. One sweet soul, Morgan, required immediate crash intervention just to stay alive. Thanks to fast action, she’s still with us—but her journey, like the others, is far from over. As you’ll see in the video, her past has left visible marks, but her gentle spirit reminds us why this work matters and why healing is possible.

We’ve set a fundraising goal of $7,500, which will help cover:

Approximately $5,000 in veterinary care and dental procedures
Medications and ongoing treatment for upper respiratory infections
Vaccinations and preventive care
Emergency and stabilization care already provided

The circumstances surrounding their intake are delicate, and the funding we hoped would be available to support their care may arrive too late—or not at all. What we can do is act now to ensure these cats don’t wait any longer for relief, comfort, and healing.

All Paws Count began as a small family effort — and has grown into a life-changing force for animals and families across our community. Over the years, we’ve rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed nearly 11,000 animals, each one representing a life saved and a family made whole. Every pet we help is one less animal entering an overcrowded shelter, and your support keeps local shelter populations low while giving vulnerable animals the second chance they deserve.
