12/11/23 UPDATE: We are still accepting funds! There are still outstanding expenses for food, trees for planting, space for trainings and other mass mobilization needs, so we're still hoping to reach our $10k goal. Once these are paid off, if we end up with anything extra, the money will be put towards future mobilizations against Cop City!

People from Atlanta and all over the US and beyond came together, marched together, stayed together, and kept each other safe, enduring tear gas and police brutality but not a single arrest at the march. Construction was shut down for over a week, likely due to the overwhelming police response to Block Cop City, which involved removing construction equipment from the site and blocking it with concrete barricades. On November 13th, opponents of Cop City will gather in Atlanta for a mass nonviolent direct action to Block Cop City. Masses of people from across the city and country will march to the forest and peacefully bring construction to a halt.

We need all hands on deck to Block Cop City — contribute to this fund to defend the Weelaunee forest from afar. All funds go directly towards on-the-ground logistical support for this critical nonviolent mass action. Donations will be utilized for puppets, banners, art supplies, printing materials, transportation, and food for hundreds of people.
