In our first year, Jubilee Healing Farm has had MAJOR accomplishments but we need YOU to support our ongoing community programming. In our first year, Jubilee:

• Successfully created a blueberry and blackberry field that will supply fruit to PORCH and address community hunger
• Received multiple grants for POEM, a free peer-support specialist training program that addresses racial disparities in mental health among college students. The program offers Black students training in peer support, transformative justice, mindfulness and ancestral and ecological healing. 
• Initiated collaborations with PORCH, The Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Research in Black Culture and History and the LGBTQ Center of Durham in support of POEM and other initiatives.
• Initiated regular donations of fresh Jubilee-grown food to the hungry in Orange County
• Began a food forest
• Hosted numerous volunteer days for the community

We need your support to keep making magic! In 2025 we hope to:

• Collaborate with Communiversity to offer school-aged children enrichment and learning at Jubilee.
• Hold additional cohorts of POEM to support Earth-based mental health training for young adults.
• Host a community natural building program to offer this Earth skill to all who are interested as a way to build connections and create an outdoor learning space.
• Continue and enhance our volunteer program with a focus on creating healthy, nurturing community space for those living with mental illness
