Every 30 seconds, human trafficking (modern day slavery), claims another victim.

It's crazy to think that there are more people enslaved today than at any other point in history, that number is pushing 50 million people. And of those people 76% are being sexually exploited.

It is our goal to end human trafficking, to bring hope to people trapped in hopelessness. The victims are not faceless victims and they are more than numbers. They are daughters, sons, neighbors and loved ones who are missing and being taken advantage of by oppressors who are simply looking to make money off of their exploitation. These victims live hard lives filled with a lot of suffering, we may not be suffering in the same way but we've chosen to do something hard and run Grandma's Marathon to shine a light on human trafficking.
