Investing in Healing, Hope, Dignity, and Futures

Help us GROW THIS VILLAGE and increase positive outcomes for the youth and families impacted by foster care.

We are raising funds to support the programs of Our Village Closet (OVC). Programs that provide no-cost essentials, comfort items, connection and support to youth in and from foster care in our community. Programs that serve over 270 individual youth of foster care each month, and over 130 individual caregivers of foster care each month. 

We knew there was a need in this community of foster care, and OVC was established to meet those needs. Years of lived experience showed us how much caregivers craved a place to come and get the supplies they needed for youth entering their care.  This lived experience also taught us how important it is for peer support, connection and validation to retain caregivers and foster families. 

And the youth- there is little more effective than seeing the spark in a child's eye as they pick out new pajamas, shoes, trending clothes (like their peers have), new toys, books, and more.  The real fulfillment is experiencing that moment in connection when a child feels seen, heard, and accepted.
