MUSCATINE, Iowa – Mark Charles Loos, 44, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at The Cabin. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to It Takes a Village. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Mark was born on November 15, 1980, in Iowa City, the son of Harold and Patsy Roles Loos. He married Sonyia Aguilar on May 14, 2022, in Letts.
He was a realtor with Keller-Williams, previously working for Re/Max. He put his heart and soul into helping people buy, sell, and invest. Mark put his family first, had a great sense of humor, loved hanging out with his family and friends, and being an uncle to Charlie. He enjoyed watching sports, the Cubs, Raiders, watching movies, hanging out at the cabin, canoeing, and playing cards. He loved his brothers, parents, his dog Kota, and cats Lola, and Maxx.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Sonyia Loos; parents, Harold and Patsy Loos; brothers, Matt Loos and wife, Becky, and John Loos and wife, Katy, and their son, Charlie; aunts and uncles, Leona Loos Fortenbacher, and husband, Sepp, Norbert Loos, and Gerry Loos Bermel; and many beloved cousins.
He is preceded in death by his uncle Karl Loos; maternal grandparents, Charles and Margaret Roles; and paternal grandparents, Leo Loos and Elisabeth Loos Thomas and Grandpa Bob.
