Austin Kelly White, U.S. Navy Corpsman, was a gentle soul, gifted builder, and lover of music whose creativity and compassion touched everyone around him. Austin’s life reflected service, imagination, and heart.

Like too many Veterans, Austin died by suicide.

At SPARK!, we work hard to create spaces for connection, expression, and community to reduce the isolation so many Veterans face, and to raise awareness for the general public on ways to wrap our arms around our Veterans in ways that are more meaningful than "thank you for your service." Austin's family has generously allowed us to honor his story by with a custom white Kaser guitar - the model he planned to order next - to raise support for Veterans in need of care and connection. Included is a handcrafted leather strap made by fellow Veteran artist and SPARK! member Zack Milner.
