As climate challenges grow, RCC is working alongside regional governments, cities, and neighborhoods to help them prepare for both immediate emergencies and the long-term stresses of a changing climate. One of our key initiatives, the Resilient Neighborhoods Program (RNP), has been vital in building resilience in vulnerable areas like Houston, Los Angeles, and Tampa, where Resilience Hubs provide communities with the resources they need to recover from climate shocks and build long-term capacity for the future.

This year, RCC has mobilized over $470 million to support resilience-building efforts, deployed new tools to help local leaders integrate resilience into decision-making, and advanced multi-benefit projects to tackle both short-term needs and systemic challenges. In Tampa, where two historic hurricanes left lasting impacts, our work has been essential in recovery and future preparedness.
