Giving Tuesday 2025: A Day to Give Big and Change Lives

This Giving Tuesday, [December 2nd] we are prioritizing two of the projects on our wish list: the New Playground and School Uniforms for EVERY child at Masaka Baptist School.

When we visited the children in June, we saw pure joy as they played on a small borrowed playground. That joy is what is driving our desire to give them a playground of their own, one that is bigger, better, and accessible every single day. Thanks to our partnership with Kids Around the World, that dream is within reach. The playground pictured below is reserved for our team to install during our February visit. Total cost: $20,000.

Our second project is equally important: two uniforms for every student for the 2026 school year. A uniform costs only $25, and we need to ensure every child receives not one, but two. Total cost: $9,000. We’re so confident in your ability to inspire others to give that we’ve already started taking measurements!

While we are prioritizing these projects we also remain committed to the other projects we mentioned previously:

• Completing a water well installation- $20,000

• Renovating dormitories with new beds and bedding -$45,000

• Upgrading bathrooms and showers, plus adding a new facility near the girls’ dormitory -$45,000.
