A Message from Dipak Patel, President of LPS of USA

It is with a heavy heart that I share the tragic news of the loss of our community friend, Chandra Mouli “Bob” Nagamallaiah. Bob was taken from us in a horrific act of violence at Downtown Suites in Dallas. Known lovingly as Bob, he was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a kind human being who left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Nisha, and his 18-year-old son, Gaurav, who just graduated high school and is preparing to begin college this fall to study Hospitality Management following in his father’s footsteps. This tragedy unfolded in front of his family, making their loss even more painful and unimaginable.

As President of LPS of USA, I am reaching out not only to our Samaj members but also to hoteliers across our industry. In times like these, we must come together to support one of our own. The Nagamallaiah family now faces not only the grief of losing Bob but also the heavy financial burdens that follow.

Helping Nisha and Gaurav with immediate household and living costs
Supporting Gaurav’s college education and future
