At Immigrant History Initiative (IHI), we create high quality lesson plans, programs, and media on Asian American and immigration history for a diverse audience, from schools to families to communities and corporations.

With your support, we will be able to provide these resources free of charge on our website for everyone!

Over the past six years, our team has curated dozens of original lesson plans and guides around Asian American history, law, and identity that have been used to guide learning opportunities in schools and homes around the world, reaching over 200,000 people in the U.S. and globally.

Some of our resources include:

Asian American studies lesson plans for all ages, including AP U.S. History and K-5 grade levels.
Lesson plans focusing on gender & intersectionality and cross-racial solidarity within Asian American studies
A parent guide on talking to children about Asian American identity & racism with translations in Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Nepali, Tagalog, Vietnamese in collaboration with Dr. Jenny Wang
A Bystander Intervention 1-2-3 Guide with an accompanying online simulation
