I have always wanted to go to Africa, but every time the opportunity arose, it never felt quite “right.” In October 2022, my sister-in-law climbed Kilimanjaro, went on a safari, and raised money for a great cause. That resonated deeply. I reached out to her to get information about her journey. We texted back and forth a couple of times to connect, but we never did. The trip moved to the back of my mind until November 2024. As I considered what my heart and soul wanted to do to celebrate turning 50 in 2025, Africa re-emerged. I felt called to climb a big mountain and do something to give back. I left a voicemail for my sister-in-law to get information but never heard back, which ended up being perfectly aligned. Instead of scrambling to figure out “how” I would make that trip happen, I held the vision of why I wanted to go to Africa. I asked my soul what rooms I needed to be in and who I needed to meet. And, I trusted. A month later, I saw Jen MacNiven’s Facebook post that she was climbing Kilimanjaro for her 50th birthday. I contacted her, and she said she was in the process of working with some other women to put it together and would get back to me. Two weeks later, I attended a networking event in Denver and met Dr. Kelly Schuh for the first time. I asked her what she was most excited about for the upcoming year, and she said, “Climbing Kilimanjaro, helping to fund the building of a school in Tanzania, and doing a safari.” You can’t make this up. That is how the Arica trip I had been waiting for manifested just like magic. The universe is magical—especially when you know how it works. It has systems, structures, and rules of engagement, which is what we teach at Evolve Institute. In 5D, you work WITH the universe. Allowing it to figure out the how. I couldn’t be more excited to go to Africa with incredible thought leaders and visionaries who deeply desire to be their best selves and positively impact the world.
