3rdCoastSanctuary raises funds to promote the fight to save our iconic American Mustangs, and to save all horses and animals from abuse, slaughter and inhumane treatment. Funds are used to purchase horses and burros from kill pens and transport for long-term feed and care at our facility.

In 2023 we strived to become financially sound, with a goal of no longer having to rely on personal donations from Founders. Our aim for 2024 is to reach thjs goal, and to continue to provide safe haven to equines rescued to date, as well as help raise awareness regarding the issues of horses shipping to other countries to be slaughtered for their meat.

In addition, we are raising funds to save our pasture from the trials of mother nature, and we plan to rescue and/or quarantine more saved equines, and implement an adoption program.
