Join us at the Tower Theater on April 16, 2023 for our premier film festival! This event kicks off our Spring for Thrive Central Oregon fundraiser, an annual event intended to foster awareness around housing and income insecurity in our community.

Directed by Abigail E. Disney and Kathleen Hughes, The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales has been described as “Extremely powerful, timely and important” by The Hollywood Reporter. The film highlights life stories that aren’t often explored on the Central Oregon stage: those struggling with income and housing instability.

The event will include an awesome raffle of Central Oregon prizes, and Thrive Central Oregon gear for purchase! Staff and local resources will also be available for attendees to learn more about what’s going on in our community directly from those working in the fields of resources, housing and health.

This year all proceeds from the event and all donations made during the week of April 16-22 go back into our community: bolstering our housing fund that provides application fees, rental and deposit assistance for those in need.
