For over 23 years, the 4 Knowledge Is Power College & Historical Tour has been a life-changing experience for teens in our communities. This 7-day journey provides students with invaluable educational and historical knowledge, opening doors to new opportunities and broadening their perspectives.

During the tour, students have the opportunity to meet with college admission counselors, learn about the requirements for attending each university, and experience campus life firsthand. This exposure helps them envision their future, set goals, and gain the confidence needed to pursue higher education.

Our destination for this year includes Tallahassee, Florida; Washington, D.C.; Virginia; Maryland; North Carolina; and Georgia. Throughout the trip, students will visit renowned colleges, historical landmarks, and cultural sites that will inspire and empower them for the future.

4 Knowledge Is Power has been committed to making these tours accessible for inner-city youth by keeping costs low, but it has never been an easy journey. Expenses continue to rise each year, making it increasingly challenging to provide this opportunity. One of our biggest obstacles remains funding transportation, particularly the charter bus, which is our largest expense. Many may not fully understand the significance of this experience especially for students who have never had the chance to travel beyond their communities but it truly makes a lasting impact.
