Community Cats Need Your Support!

Homeless and lost cats are under constant threat from predators, fast cars, mean people, and other territorial cats. They need to find food, water, and shelter every day, but may not be lucky. We've trapped over 300 homeless cats over the past 8+ years (primarily from San Mateo, Hillsborough, and Burlingame), and had them fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped, while also getting them critical veterinary treatment as needed. We also feed over 20 homeless and lost cats on the streets of San Mateo nightly, providing high-quality food and water, as well as plenty of TLC.  We also occasionally reunite lost domesticated cats with their caregivers. All of these homeless and lost cats are truly grateful for our help!

Seriously Injured Homeless Cats Need Your Help!

One had his eye removed, the other needs to have his leg amputated.

Goldie, a sweet orange cat, had his eye badly injured in a fight at our feeding site, and we had to have the Emergency Vet remove his eye (as well as getting him fixed, vaccinated, blood-tested, microchipped).

Shelby, a homeless friendly brown tabby, was rescued when he was discovered with a broken leg. He's now been fixed, vaccinated, and had various radiology tests. His leg needs to be amputated, which will cost an additional $3-4K.

If you can donate toward their expensive vet bills, we would *really* appreciate it. We're a small group of volunteers rescuing homeless cats in our spare time along the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula. You can donate by clicking on the red Donate button on our homepage: TheLostCats.Org, or at our Give Butter webpage: https://givebutter.com/4Q2gtO.
