Our speaker series bridges three vital themes: preserving cultural identity in new surroundings, honoring the history and cherished memories of home after migrating to the United States, and fostering a nurturing community that empowers marginalized groups, especially refugee women and children. More than a lecture series; it's a lively conversation that unites people. Speakers not only share their stories, they share mutual support and connections within the refugee network, the campus, and the whole community. WHY DONATE? Your generous donations will go towards our programs in ESL (English as a Second Language), health, and legal advocacy for refugee women and children in CT. We assist those who have recently transitioned past the initial period of government support but still require assistance to stand on their own feet. πŸ’ͺ Our Initiatives Include: πŸš— Assisting individuals in obtaining driving licenses and permits. πŸ—£ Helping refugees communicate effectively with service providers. πŸ“š Supporting the purchase of educational materials for women. πŸ‘©β€πŸ« Paying for tutoring services to empower learning. πŸ’° Financial support for various essential needs. SPONSORSHIP TIERS See the "Sponsor the Event" section.
