Create A Brighter World For Writers

Muse Squad, a 501c(3) public charity, was born out of a love for writing and a void that needs to be filled for writers everywhere. Writing centers are amazing places, however, they are few and far between and right now kids may have to travel an impossible distance to attend a writing institute. We are working to make this change. That’s why we came up with a program taught out of a handbook that is packed with famous quotes, rules of grammar infused into fun, interactive lessons, original prompts, astonishing literary excerpts. Muse Squad promotes a club-like environment to instill storytelling techniques, explore literature and make friends, and is an extracurricular activity that is greatly lacking in many communities, which is why we sense a level of urgency because kids need this type of creative outlet. And the best part is, we come to your town!

Ever since its founding in 2022, Muse Squad has been passionately dedicated to expanding access to creative writing experiences for children and teens in towns across Connecticut and New York. From day-long workshops to after-school clubs and summer camps, Muse Squad provides a wide array of programs for eager young writers to discover their unique voice as an author.

As we look forward into Muse Squad’s bright future and aim to grow our team of instructors and expand our college internship program, support for our cause is more crucial than ever to sustain the expansion for our offerings and allow us to reach more talented and deserving writers in our local communities.
