Thanks to your generous support last year, 36 young people embarked on promising careers of service. AHDI’s educational grants have supported 18 graduates now employed as electricians, welders, and carpenters, and 15 young women who are now serving their community in the healthcare sector. Many of you have seen the Horn of Africa in the news this year as war and hunger continue to ravage the region. As access to basic needs remains limited, AHDI is committed to equipping young people with the skills they need to change the circumstances on the ground.

Because AHDI is a completely volunteer-run organization with almost zero overhead, donations make a direct impact for students. Tuition for the midwifery/nursing program costs $100 per month, while the vocational program costs $60. Your gift of $60 – $100 would support a student for one month and a gift of $600 covers a year’s tuition.
