Help TeamString I Am Not Forgotten continue changing the lives of young people throughout Chicago, the South Suburbs, and surrounding communities.

At TeamString I Am Not Forgotten Inc., we believe every young person deserves someone in their corner, an opportunity to succeed, and a reason to believe their future can be different.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing mentoring, workforce development, restorative justice, social-emotional learning, violence prevention, job readiness, and positive community engagement for young people ages 6–24.

Over the past several years, TeamString has worked with thousands of young people throughout Chicagoland. We have helped create employment opportunities for youth, worked inside schools, supported young people facing difficult circumstances, helped improve school engagement, and provided mentorship to youth who simply needed someone willing to show up for them.

Our work has reached young people at schools and communities throughout the Chicago area, including Dett Elementary, Hillcrest High School, North Lawndale College Prep, and Chicago Vocational High School, along with many others.

But our work goes far beyond a classroom.

We have stood beside young people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. We have helped youth find employment, supported teen parents, connected families with resources, provided community outreach, and worked with young people who needed a second chance instead of someone giving up on them.

Through our Mentoring Academy and Workforce Academy, we want to continue creating safe spaces where young people can learn, work, grow, earn, and see possibilities for their lives beyond violence and the streets.

Why We Need Your Help

TeamString needs funding to keep these programs operating and growing.

Your donation can help us provide:

Youth mentoring and restorative justice programming
Workforce development and job-readiness opportunities
Youth employment and stipends
Violence-prevention programming
Educational materials, books, shirts, and program supplies
Transportation and field trips
Community outreach and youth events
Facilitators and program staff
Resources for young people and families experiencing hardship

Whether you donate $10, $25, $50, $100, $500, or more, you are helping us continue showing young people that they have not been forgotten.

This organization was built on a simple belief: when we invest in our young people before they reach a crisis, we can change the direction of their lives.

We have already seen what happens when someone shows up.

Now we need your help to keep showing up.

Please donate, share this campaign, and help TeamString continue empowering the next generation.

THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN.
