Every year, the Gala de Arte is critical in generating funding that ensures our city continues to boast a world-class museum – one of the most significant Mexican art museums in the U.S., and the only AAM accredited museum dedicated to Mexican Art.

On May 13, 2022, we look forward to hosting supporters in person again when we host our next Gala de Arte, themed Haz Magia (Make Magic)

The Gala de Arte will be a wonderful black-tie evening; along with mixing and mingling with your fellow supporters, guests will be treated to fantastic cuisine, live music by Maggie Speaks, and dancing. What’s more, the Museum’s Arthur R. Velasquez Award will be presented to the incomparable Adela Cepeda for her significant contributions in leadership in the Latino community and the city of Chicago. The Museum's Legacy Award will be presented to our beloved trustee Diana Palomar for her long-standing support of NMMA.

The evening will also feature a silent auction and live auction.
