Our Mission:

The area of South Fulton, a city southwest of Atlanta, GA, has an estimated population of 108,912 with 90.80% of the population identified as Black or African American. Our Foundation is focusing on the cities surrounding South Fulton, College Park, Chattahoochee Hills, Fairburn, East Point, Union City, Hapeville, Palmetto, and Southwest
Atlanta.

For many of us, wondering where we will get our next meal or if we will have shelter tonight is inconsequential. For millions around the world, it is a daily struggle!

Nearly 1 in 8 Georgians is living with food insecurity, including 1 in 6 children. Target population for Southwest Atlanta, GA homeless, low-income families, the elderly, disabled, and homebound populations require assistance with hunger and food insecurity.

The Peter Uba Foundation is helping to address Hunger and Food Insecurity with our target populations by:

Creating food pantries and food kitchens in targeted locations in the city where there is food insecurity and hunger.
Creating a neighborhood thrift store where the needy can get coats, blankets, and weather suitable clothing.
Delivering ready-made meals to the elderly and the homebound.
Conducting intake assessments and making appropriate referrals to community agencies and organizations.
