Mount Gretna Arts Conservation Fund

In 2025, a work of public art was permanently installed at the Mount Gretna Playhouse. The twelve-foot bronze figure was designed by Artist and Mount Gretna resident, Cory Wanamaker and includes lighting and a water feature. This sculpture honors our Mount Gretna community where art binds people to place and each other. The Mount Gretna Arts Council (MGAC) is thrilled to accept this gift on behalf of the community from the Mim Enck Foundation, Mim’s friends, and friends of the community.

Conservation will be critical to preserving the life of our new sculpture, ensuring that it can be enjoyed year after year by generations to come. Hence the Mount Gretna Arts Conservation Fund, a restricted account to be held by the MGAC, is being created to provide sustained funding for arts preservation expenses that may include, but are not limited to, maintenance, supplies and insurance. The Conservation Fund will provide a long-term, stable and predictable source of income.

Our request to you is for a gift to help permanently fund the Guardian of Arts Conservation Fund. When you make your donation, you are giving a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits. Your donation along with gifts from other benefactors will be invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment will be used to address immediate needs. The remaining income will be reinvested to ensure future support.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of a gift to the Mount Gretna Arts Conservation Fund. Together, we can safeguard this inspiring work of art so it continues to enrich and inspire for generations to come.

Respectfully,

Mount Gretna Arts Council Board of Directors
