Join us in celebration of Sur Legal Collaborative's 4th Birthday! Come support your favorite worker justice organization, while supporting a local, immigrant-owned restaurant on October 29th, 2024 from 5-9:30pm at Chai Pani Decatur!

Chai Pani Decatur is graciously hosting our birthday celebration this year, and 10% of dinner sales will be donated to Sur Legal to support our programming that supports marginalized workers within Georgia and across the Deep South.

Founded in October 2020, Sur Legal Collaborative is a women of color-led and run immigrant and worker rights nonprofit legal organization working at the nexus of labor, immigration, and decarceration movements in the Deep South.

Please join us in celebration of our 4th year in action, as we have worked alongside our community, partners, and generous supporters as we continue working towards the empowerment of intersectionally marginalized workers in Georgia and across the Deep South. For those unable to attend, please consider supporting our work through donating, sharing our event's campaign page, and/or creating your own peer-to-peer fundraiser on Givebutter! Your support enables Sur Legal Collaborative to continue to lend legal support to immigrant and worker communities in the struggle to end abuses in the workplace and in our country’s inhumane immigration system.

Please note: There will be no formal programming, and this is open to all so please feel free to drop in any time during dinner hours [5pm - 9:30pm]. 10% of all proceeds from today’s dinner purchases (dine-in, take-out, & delivery) will be donated towards Sur Legal Collaborative.

There is free parking at the restaurant.
No “tickets” needed – if you’ve signed up via our Birthday Campaign Page serve as an RSVP so we know who to expect!
No formal program or dress-code, just come as you are.
Feel free to come by anytime between 5pm and 9:30pm, 10% of meals during this time will be donated towards Sur Legal Collaborative.
