On FRIDAY, May 15th, we are having another COMEDY OPEN MIC 6-9pm at B-Side Indie Music Cafe! This is a FREE event. After the open mic section, we have a special guest comedian closing out the show.

Sign up starts at 6pm on the day of the event ONLY and ends at 7pm. Open mic sets are 5min each, beginning at 7pm and ending at 8pm. Please remember: Stage time is a privilege, not a right! Our special guest Erick Austin takes the stage at 8pm.

This is an ALL AGES and SOBER event. Keep it clean, be aware of your audience! This is an event for ALL AGES to both attend and perform at.

BRE WESTBY// host

Bre is a member of the Project 37 team. She books and hosts comedy and hip-hop shows for B-Side and has participated in Laugh Your Tats Off and Roster Roasts battles and is a regular participant at Keller comedy.

ERICK AUSTIN// special guest

A St Cloud original, Erick is a comic & producer on the Minnesota comedy scene. He was the runner-up in the Funniest Person contest at Rick Bronson's House of Comedy in Mall of America in 2024, and 3rd place in the funniest person contest at Sisyphus Brewing 2025. He regularly features at the house of comedy, and has opened for the likes of Eleanor Kerrigan, and K Trevor Wilson, and TJ Miller. Erick is also the producer of NeverQuit Comedy, and produces shows across central MN and surrounding areas!
