The ZGiRLS mission is one that resonates deeply with my heart and core values. If we help equip young girls with the right tools, they can live a life of confidence, embrace personal growth, and have a positive sense of self-worth.

ZGiRLS tackles the critical issue of low self-confidence and self-worth among girls—a problem that CDC data shows is escalating into a mental health crisis. In 2021, nearly 60% of teen girls reported persistent sadness or hopelessness, and almost 1 in 3 contemplated suicide. Additionally, a 2023 report from ROX found that 66% of girls don’t say what they are thinking because they want to be liked, and 57% believe they aren’t smart enough for their dream job. This lack of confidence apparent in young girls holds back their willingness to take risks, pursue their goals, voice their opinions, or step into leadership roles. These issues perpetuate into adulthood, undermining girl’s potential and limiting their contributions to society.
ZGiRLS addresses these challenges by facilitating 4-week programs to help equip girls between the ages of 11-14 with a toolset to live a life with zero self-limitations. By establishing a strong foundation for lifelong mental wellness, ZGiRLS’ programs aim to empower girls and improve the lives of youth in our community.

This enables girls to benefit from ZGiRLS, regardless of their family's ability to pay. $129 sponsors one girl to attend the ZGiRLS program cost-free.
