501(c)(3) Application

In order to apply for grants, TFDP needs to obtain 501(c)(3) status. The application fee for this to the IRS is $600. For my birthday I'd love to raise this money so that TFDP can reach more people. Every dollar truly helps.

The First Dollar Project started because I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by money and have no idea where to begin. I’ve had times in my life where everything felt harder than it should be — budgeting, debt, and planning ahead. And I know I’m not the only one who’s ever carried that weight.

If the 501(c)(3) application is approved all donations will be retroactively tax deductible.
