We are currently working on a documentary as part of the not-for-profit. The focus is four-fold:

Raising Awareness: Conrad's story raises awareness about the importance of proper care and treatment for individuals with near-drowning injuries, highlighting the need for intensive rehab and a positive approach.

Inspiring Hope: His story inspires hope for families and individuals affected by similar incidents, showing that with the right care and support, people can make remarkable progress.

Advancing Research: The documentary and movement surrounding Conrad's story aims to advance critical research on non fatal drowing injuries, and other related injuries.

Promoting Inclusion: Conrad's legacy emphasizes the importance of inclusion and accessibility, encouraging people to support and champion the rights of individuals with disabilities.

We have raised $150,000 and currently need $60,000 to bring the project across the finish line. We have a majority of the filming complete, and now need the additional funding to mold the footage into an inspiring, award winning film that will truly make an impact.

Through storytelling, the film will use Conrad as the beacon to shine the light on all people that share this and similar conditions. This is not just about Conrad, but all the other kids that have similar experiences, and the people that work to make positive change happen.

It’s a story of resilience, courage, inclusion, and hope. A Boy Named Conrad delves into a world where conventional notions of disability are challenged.
